NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST
Dr. Joseph Gullett is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in brain health and aging, with expertise in neuropsychological assessment for adults and older adults. He assesses and treats individuals with a range of conditions including traumatic brain injury, ADHD, cerebrovascular disease and stroke, neurodegenerative diseases, memory disorders, movement disorders, substance use disorders, and mood disorders.
Dr. Gullett earned his Bachelor's and Doctoral Degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida. Before his doctoral studies, he worked as a psychometrist in a neuropsychology clinic and as a research assistant with a VA neurologist. His predoctoral internship in geropsychology was completed at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, followed by postdoctoral training in neuropsychology at the University of Florida. He is a recipient of an NIH Career Development Award, a principal investigator on multiple R01 grants, and his research is published in peer-reviewed journals. He is particularly interested in applying AI methods to neuroimaging and neuropsychology.
In his evaluations, Dr. Gullett focuses on individual factors influencing brain-behavior relationships identified through neuropsychological assessment, and how these can be optimized to improve healthy brain aging. He has extensive experience working with older adults with neurodegenerative conditions, brain injury or TBI, PTSD, and attentional deficits related to various medical and neurological conditions.
At The Integrated Clinic, Dr. Gullett conducts forensic neuropsychological evaluations and testamentary capacity evaluations.
